Antique Nooitgedagt Duck Pull Toy

This pull toy from Dutch toy maker, Nooitgedagt was crafted in Ijlst, Friesland, Netherlands. The tool and skate making company tried toy making while using up "cast off" pieces of wood from their shops in 1933 . The idea took off and in the midst of World Wars, they became a household toy name. Reading about the Nooitgedagt family, it seems they hid a Jewish family in Holland during the Nazi regime.
