Norman Rockwell (born February 3, 1894, New York City, New York, U.S.—died November 8, 1978, Stockbridge, Massachusetts) was an American illustrator best known for his covers for the journal The Saturday Evening Post.
Rockwell was a careful craftsman with an ability to represent detail realistically. The subjects of most of his illustrations were taken from everyday family and small-town life and were often treated with a touch of humour.
A religious and traditional thinker, Rockwell was above all else a patriot. His was a sympathetic and optimistic view of the average American and he, more than any other artist in its history, captured the daily customs and rituals of the comely ways of traditional American family life.
Add a touch of romance to your living space with this "Four Ages of Love: Courting Couple" (second in the "Four Ages of Love" folio by Norman Rockwell) antique wall hanging plaque/ round decoupage with beautiful decorative hook.
While the age of this piece remains a mystery, its charm is absolutely timeless!
