Antique Pearl Stone Ware Wedgwood Platter with Cut corner White & Blue Transferw

Wonderful Antique Wedgwood & Co. Pearl Stoneware Platter, ca. Middle 19th Century. This Stoneware platter with cut corners, features a repeating pattern of bouquets and romantic villas, above a fish scale pattern. The center scene depicts a highly stylized 'California' with temples on the water and gondolas polling through the water. Marked on reverse: Wedgwood banner/ Pearl Stoneware in a circle around California and registry double diamond mark: "Pottery/ 1875/APRIL/2". It has some age wear, underglaze staining, and crazing throughout. With a glaze skip on the enamel at the front bottom. It measures 10 3/4" wide x 8 1/8" tall.
