A wonderful pair of Rare Antique Solid Brass Peerage England Ladies Legs Hinged Lever Nutcrackers. The fabulous pair of rude risqué Victorian brass nutcrackers is engraved with “Peerage” and “England” on the inside. The nutcrackers date from the late 19th Century and are the ideal Nutcracker for festive nuts this Christmas. The one of a kind brass nutcrackers are modelled on a pair of bare ladies legs with a leaf motif to the top. These were very popular at the turn of the 20th century and nick-named “Naughty Nellies”. The brass has a lovely mellow and the legs feel lovely and smooth. 
 Easily cracks all nuts with hard shells – perfect Christmas or Thanksgiving gift, especially if accompanying a bag of Nuts with Shells. The mechanism is in perfect working condition. Measurements: 4 3/4” long x 1 1/4” wide & Weights : 7.9 oz
