Antique Plate New Phoenix Office Building Clothing Company Arizona WS George

This listing is for one antique plate made by WS George. The front of the plate has an image for New Phoenix Office Building, Home of New Phoenix Clothing Co. I have researched this plate a few different times over the past few years and have not been able to find any information online about this business or building. There are a variety of clothing businesses in Phoenix which complicate the search. I was hoping to contact the area Historical Society for assistance in Arizona, but their Facebook page shows they are not a very active or current group. Hopefully someone will have more information and enjoy this plate. WS George was in operation from 1904 until 1960. Online information indicates the pieces marked White Granite are earlier pieces, which matches the design (cars, people, etc.). This is a bit heavier than a normal 'giveaway' type of plate. This plate measures 8 1/4'' wide. This is a previously owned item in good overall condition. No chips or cracks. The design on the front shows very light loss, with the overwhelming majority intact. There is some loss/wear to the gold around the rim. The plate shows crazing with some faint discoloration in the crazing in a few spots.
