Antique 1920s (or may be earlier as it has no stamp. Cambridge started stamping in the 1920’s) azurite / opalene blue milk pedestal bowl with gold encrusted trim. This is a large sized bowl and is very rare. It belonged to two Cambridge glass collectors and was sourced from an antique shop. The glass is a luminous, creamy sky blue with very subtle gauzy, milky swirls. The edge of the bowl has a raised gold encrusted trim of the leaves and berries pattern. The size of this bowl can anchor a Cambridge Glass collection. It would be beautiful to display baubles or colorful fruit. Great gift for a glass collector, can pretty much guarantee that they wont have this particular piece! Size: 7.5” tall x 10.25” diameter. Condition: Very good antique condition. Gold trim is not worn off (does have a few mild scuffs scattered -please see all photos and video). Unmarked. There is a fissure underneath the bowl- see photos- it is not a crack and is original to the piece from the glass factory. It doesn’t show through to the other side and has no bearing on glass integrity.
