Antique Rene Lalique 1922 Le Lys D’Orsay Powder Box Glass Art Deco Parfume Vtg

This original "Le Lys" (the Lily) powder pot/box was designed and produced by Rene Lalique c1922 for the cosmetic company D'Orsay "D'ORSAY" is moulded in the lid design, while the base has "R.LALIQUE - FRANCE" moulded in it. The box measures 10 cm (4) in diameter and it stands 4.6 cm (1.8") tall A true antique and gorgeous piece of art deco history, over 100 years old! I like to think of the many vanities and dressers this has adorned over its long life. Makes a lovely trinket tray or ring bowl.
