The clematis pattern is a late period released in 2944 by Roseville Pottery.The vase, 8.5" tall, has pink clematis in high relief on grounded green glaze. There is some wear on this piece: two small chips on the base. Unfortunately, someone tried to "doctor" it by painting over it in a color that is not even close. There is some white spotting on the base. I'm unsure what that might represent, but it might be some oozing from the clay. Perhaps it was present at the time of production. Nevertheless, it is a lovely piece.
