Circa 1900 Rosewood fife with hand-hewn wooden case. All parts in excellent antique condition. Removable tuning crown on head joint. Head joint has a small chip near the tone hole, does not affect playing or intonation. Absolutely a beautiful instrument to play or collect.

@vintino Can you actually play a full scale on this fife? Do the keys work? I am a musician and would want to play it.

@viogirlvt yes you can play a scale. There are 6 finger holes plus the D# pinky key on the right hand. You need to used forked fingering to play a scale (as on any fife) and the sound mostly resembles a warm piccolo. The range is about an octave and a half.
