Antique Royal Crown Nippon Chocolate Pot

Antique Royal Crown Kinran hand painted porcelain chocolate pot with blue, red, and yellow flower motif and gold leaf trim. Hot chocolate pots were a sign of status in Victorian times as chocolate was a very expensive luxury! Made between 1890-1921 in Japan (Nippon). 8 ⅝" tall with lid, 7 ⅜" without. 7" from spout to end of handle, and has a base diameter of 5 ¼". No chips or cracks, has some manufacturing flaws, two glazed over cut marks, one on inside rim and one on base rim, and some gold loss mainly on side of handle ( see last 4 pics ).
