Antique Russian Silver Filigree Brown Pointy Oval Cabochon Stone Ring sz8.25 this ring is SO cool! The shape, the stone, the filigree. A beautiful example of early 20th century styling and attention to detail. Art Nouveau at its finest I do not know for sure what the stone is, probably some form of Jasper top element measures 1.25" long and 2/3" wide and sits 1/2" high. Size is between a 8.25 and 8.5, see pic on mandril. the outer bottom shank bears markings showing the Russian origin, age, place, and perhaps maker. The marks are all very tiny and hard to see. The one I could make out shows a head turned to the right, which dates it from 1908 to 1926.
