Antique Sterling Nail Buffer Stone Sterling Co

Beautiful antique sterling silver top nail buffer. Lovely raised relief floral design with big handle, textured wood buffer, monogrammed with initial E under the handle. It's marked "Sterling", with a mark of SSS with an arrow through it -- the mark of the Stone Sterling Company, which only operated for about seven years, from 1896 to 1903 . Measures 4 1/2" long and 1 1/4" wide, and weighs a total of 47 grams on my scale. Good vintage condition with some small shallow dings on sides -- looks like someone tried to remove the buffer section. Also some tarnish in the recesses.
