Antique Thun Porcelain Rose Bowl Signed by Artist 1927 Handpainted with Gold Rim

This pretty handpainted rose bowl comes from Count Thun's Porcelain Factory, and is signed by the artist and dated 1927. It is painted with roses in shades of peach and brown, over an ivory background. The ruffled rim is edged in gold, and the inside has an iridescent glaze. Measures approximately 5" across and 4" tall. Thun is still in business, and is the largest Czech porcelain manufacturer. The manufactory was founded by Count František Josef Thun and Johann Nicolaus Weber in 1794. Is is one of the oldest factories in Bohemia. In excellent vintage condition, with no chips, cracks or signs of damage from use.
