This sterling silver 925 sash buckle , also known as a sash pin, with hand engraved floral motif is a textbook Victorian piece. Sash pins became popular after Queen Victoria brought wearing a sash across the chest or around the waist into fashion. This particular piece has many of the common attributes of the style of the time: the design imitating a buckle, a floral motif characteristic of the era that adds a sweet touch to this intricate piece.
