These leather boots are in excellent condition to be 100 years old. These were from Marshall Fields. They still have their original laces. They are aged as you would expect even with great care, yellowing of the cloth, light cracking of leather, worn areas on the heels, darker spots on leather in places. Overall still one of the best looking pairs I have seen. They have cross designs on the toe. The writing seems to indicate the size as 4 1/2 but they seem bigger. Great to display.

Hi there, I was wondering if you could measure the length of the sole. Thank you. :)

I wish these were my size.😢 Beautiful!

@lala_diamondgrl I would be afraid to actually wear them @ around 100 years old. I do absolutely love them tho. They belong on display somewhere.

They’re gorgeous. Have you thought about reaching out to a museum? Where did you find them?
brizee77
@lala_diamondgrl There was an antique / vintage store locally that had them on display. I bought them when they went out of business.

@brizee77 Wow, that’s amazing! I have a bronze relic (not a statue, but don’t really know what else to call it) of this type of shoe in the entryway of my home. We definitely have great taste!.💕

What a gorgeous find! What is the measurement of the length on the bottom of the boot?
ladylux3
Listing the measurement would clear up any confusion as to the size and hello you sell them faster 🥰

These boots are sooo interesting looking. Even the writing on the inside is quite telling of the period. It’s hard to find such beautiful penmanship these days. Cheers to you making the sale!!
