Antique Viennese Beer Stein

Antique Viennese Beer Stein 1875-1895 -Glass and pewter -3 ring hinge pivot -Hand painted -Green glass, hand blown~applied handle -Beautiful intricate detail on lid. The oxidation on the outer side of the lid beautifully contrasts the inner side. The thumb lift is a cherub riding what appears to be a lion’s head. The ring of dots near the rim is raised and in perfect condition. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. Acquired in Vienna, Austria over 70 years ago! My father-in-law brought it back to the states after serving in the US Army in Austria. Approximately 8” tall No identifying markings The 5th picture was taken with the flash to show detail. The pewter is darker than in picture. Check out ‘inside lid’ pictures to see original color of the pewter.
