Antique Vintage Black 1900s Silk Chiffon And Lace Bodice Blouse Edwardian

A genuine antique Edwardian C1908 black and ecru silk chiffon bodice or blouse with black lace and a small collar. A modified pigeon front style. As Is, not Perfect. Please see condition. A very pretty antique piece in fine delicate real silk chiffon. The under bodice is the cream or ecru shade. This piece has small almost to the elbow sleeves. A darker cream net collar and collar are attached. The over bodice is black sheer silk chiffon with the top being fine lace. The sleeves are almost elbow length and they have a cuff in the cream silk. The bodice has a bloused shape and it closes at the waist only with a tiny snap. The under bodice is smaller at the waist than the over blouse. Please note the antique sizing! Bust - 36 inches Waist - 24 inches Shoulder - 18 inches Body Length - 20 inches To be worn this piece will need the proper antique under garments to fit correctly. A corset. In good condition but very fragile or delicate if you plan on wearing it. Treat it was great care. Read carefully. The silk under piece is wrinkled, the collar piece has some old age spots. The right sleeve has a small hole where the lace and solid are attached. A small hole on the same sleeve higher up. Also a few on the back. See the photo. The under bodice under arm area has tears. A lovely piece to copy, use for a photo shoot or to display.
