Antique Vintage Handmade Flapper Nouveau Silk Dress Black w/White Flowers M/L

Beautiful, handmade, antique/vintage 1920s-1930s sheer, silk dress - black with dainty white flowers in good vintage condition. Under the arm hole on the left side, the fabric has begun to fray (see photo). There are areas where the white flowers look darker - like dye from the black part of the fabric has run onto the white...see close up at end of photos. Dark areas are not very noticeable - they are located down at the hem line. Lots of flounce at bottom - beautiful for dancing. Although the fabric is in mostly good condition, it is antique silk and will require delicate care. The size is marked as a M/L but may fit an XL with a snugger fit. This dress was purchased at an antique clothing fair in San Francisco in the early 2010s. See photos for details and measurements. Please message with any questions.
