Antique W H Grindley English Flow Blue & White Staffordshire Dish Bowl in the Clarence pattern Circa 1891 Made in Staffordshire, England by the W H Grindley Pottery Company of England during the Victorian Era. Features a scalloped edge with embossed raised beading in a dark cobalt blue rim & inner circle of embossed raised flowers. The border is made up of cartouche forms that alternate with bouquets of small chrysanthemums with trailing sprigs. There are also flowers & trailing sprigs on either side of the exterior. This charming beauty has age-related crazing, a manufacturing pot stone & visible crack, all "flaws" that are to be expected from something over 130 years old. A beautiful display piece that will only become more rare as the years go by. The makers stamp is on the back along with the 13 registry number.
