Japanese Antique Imari Meiji era. Beautiful antique inban porcelain plate made in the Meiji era (1868 - 1912). This plate is interesting, unique, and collectible because of its pattern. You can see the landscape with a windmill and western-style houses. Japan got a lot of influences from Western culture in the Meiji era, and the craftsman who made this plate referred to an imported plate from Europe and just copied its pattern. Inban is an old method to transfer an image on a plate by hand work.
