This beautiful solid hand hewn Kiri wood base was created in the Maki-e style, which is a layered lacquer technique, likely in the Taishō Period (1920s - 40s) or just after. SIZE: The vase measures just under 12" tall and 4.5" diameter. CONDITION: This beautiful vase has a few of the expected signs of age and use, such as some nicks and/or scratches in the wood.
