Antique circa 1890 metal (brass/bronze) trinket box with embossed scene

This antique bronze or brass embossed on top, tin on inside, box has an intricate scene of a hunter/father coming back to his family (4 kids and wife) on a farm, carrying 2 dead rabbits… it looks to be German or English. Lots of details in this art work! (see pics). The bottom part of the box is painted (?) and scratched (see pics) perhaps it was a cookie or chocolate tin from Germany or England (that had a fancy top). The tag on the box was from an antique store in Vegas (where my brother acquired it). The tag says the box is from 1892. Inside the box is an old letter written to someone named Miss Games (Cames?)and is sort of a love letter how he wants to bring her a present back from (?) But it shouldn’t be too expensive.. he’s looking for work. He thinks he can bring her paper flowers… The letter is dated March 19, 1892 I have no idea if the box is from 1892 or later. But the letter is included with the purchase just as an interesting historical artifact!
