Antique large domed pressed glass Butter Dish

There were many different glass manufacturers at the turn of the 20th century making this type of pattern. Some called it Sunburst. I inherited this from my grandmother and it has been in a China cupboard for decades. It is not marked. The underplate is scalloped with a sawtooth edge. The bowl of the under plate was designed to hold butter, cheese or honey. In more modern days it also works for cheeseballs or spreads. Condition: there are two of the sawtooth’s, which have a chip. I have taken photos of these. They are smooth, so they have been like that for many years. The rim inside the underplate is rough on the inside, which I am guessing is from people using a knife to cut the contents. again it is smooth so it has been like that for many years. I have priced it accordingly. Being sold as is with these minor defects. Still beautiful, shiny and clear. You don’t ever want to put anything like this in a dishwasher. Fragrance and smoke-free home
