Antique leather & metal horses Equestrian earrings * these gems are actual late-1800’s earrings! They were originally screwback earrings that had corroded so bad, you couldn’t wear them anymore- the screws were rusted shut. So, I cleaned up the metal horses with a damp cloth & replaced the screwbacks with copper ear wires (for pierced ears) * the leather circle backings are genuine rawhide leather - I’ve conditioned these with leather moisturizer 👍 * please note- these are rare, high quality pieces- the horses are screwed into the leather- NOT simply glued on like modern earrings would be * voila!
