I had a customer come in and tell me a way to get out the scuff marks on her shoes.. I was simply amazed when I tried it. This was the second shoe.. the first was SO bad.. I wish I took a picture of it... disclaimer: I am not an expert nor do I take responsibility for any issues resulting in you trying this. Try at your own risk. I tried on shoes I didn't care if they got ruined..

annad421 @sylvyr oh my word I totally forgot sorry... I used crest toothpaste and a cotton ball.. then I wiped them off... can u believe it... toothpaste...

sylvyr :) I've never tried toothpaste, but I have used Windex on a paper towel to get scuffs off patent leather. Thanks for the tip! :)

got2havekaya @annad421 @royalbazaar I was going to say the same thing... Toothpaste is a miracle worker for tarnished silver! I accidentally used the wrong cleaning solution on a silver ring and it turned green so I freaked out! Then someone told me about toothpaste and not only did it remove the tarnish, it made it shinier and sparklier!! Thanks for the scuff removal tip I'll definitely try this on my patent leather shoes!!

pmaddi13 @annad421 yes toothpaste with a cloth, from other cars. Removed a big black paint scuff of of my sons pure white truck… took a little muscle but it worked.
