cshorst13 @makayla_johnsom well it tracked my walks/runs as long as I had my phone on me but I wasn’t able to open a gps app or anything.. does that answer your question?

makayla_johnsom @cshorst13 Yes! I’ve been looking at these for awhile and I’ve been wanting one for working out. Do you think in your opinion it’s useful for it?

cshorst13 @makayla_johnsom I really loved it for working out.. it has a lot of options for different types of workouts including yoga and Pilates. I mostly do workout videos from YouTube (you should check out Sydney Cummings and Caroline Girvan haha) so I selected “functional strength training” and found it to be pretty accurate. Didn’t burn as many calories on upper body days as I did with lower body when my heart rate was higher. Not sure how it would work for hardcore weightlifting though.

cshorst13 @makayla_johnsom I really liked that I could set the face of the watch to see my activity (how many calories I burned and how many minutes of activity I had done that day etc. - those beloved activity rings) the only thing I didn’t love was that it didn’t show steps on the screen. You have to tap into your activity to view that.

cshorst13 @makayla_johnsom I did have to charge it every night - I know that’s a deal breaker for some. I’m only getting rid of it because it’s become a bit of an obsession haha

cshorst13 @marisseishon gps only works when it’s within Bluetooth range of your phone. Does that answer your question? You couldn’t leave your phone at home and go out for a walk and have gps, texting and phone calls
