Beautiful light blue stunner of a ring! Center stone is emerald-cut ~8mm x 6mm and the trillion-cut side stones are ~6mm x 6mm = ~4 carats total. I think it’s lab-created aquamarine or blue topaz but haven’t tested them and can’t be sure if they’re real stones (priced accordingly). Lightweight, skinny band—comfortable, even with all three stones! Stamped QJ 925 India (Quintessence Jewelry). Large scratch on bottom stone—see pic. Last pic for stones’ comparison only—other items not included; the top loose gem is blue topaz, and the bottom ring’s blue gem is aquamarine.

@anselcrista32 and @katiesnowe Please note the update on this posting—looking at it under a jeweler’s loupe and saw a large scratch on bottom of center stone. I can’t scratch it with stainless steel (6.5 Mohs scale) making me think it is lab-created aquamarine (7.5-8 Mohs scale), not glass—I can’t guarantee that, however. It is a truly beautiful ring—lowering the price because of the scratch (not visible to my eye when wearing, but is easily visible under magnification). Thanks for the likes!

@ksshop thank you. can you tell me the color of the stones. Are they pale blue like the sea or more of a topaz blue?

@katiesnowe Thank you for your question! I’ll post a photo of these stones compared with a piece I know is a confirmed aquamarine, and then one that I believe is blue topaz so you can see the comparisons of blue.

@katiesnowe Sorry for the delay! I included a photo for comparison’s sake—the top loose stone is a blue topaz, and then the bottom ring has a genuine, earth-mined aquamarine. To my eye, it looks closer to a blue topaz, although I can’t be sure either way if these are genuine stones, and if so, if they’re aquamarine or topaz. Thank you for your interest!
