@keimatherapy - The bottoms (see photo) have ridges which I believe would offer some grip. We are a smoke free home. We do have dogs — two poodle mixes.

bottom is rubber? is it slim fitting or good for regular width feet?

@keimatherapy - I believe the bottoms are plastic so not as much grip as rubber. These seem best suited for narrow or standard width feet. The widest point on the boot forefoot measures 3 3/4” in width.
