L45 maryjane slip on shoes from Arcopedico. Size 38. Honestly I wear a 7.5 and these fit me so maybe they run slightly small? Chart says they should fit a US 8 but I don't know. Pic from the Arcopedico website is the same style but slightly different print. That has flowers and this one is more squiggly lines. Please see all other pics. Velcro strap. retailtherapy8d @kommercekitty the edge of the shoe is low because they are Mary Jane’s. So pretty much none since it rests beneath the point of your ankle. The strap does maintain structure and support for the sides of the foot if that’s what you’re asking about. These are very light weight and fabric not leather or something more rigid
