New in Mint Condition the Acto FL is an abrasion-resistant hardfleece hoody. Lightly insulated and highly air-permeable Aerius™ fabric helps reduce over heating and ventilate excess sweat. Worn as either a midlayer or softshell outer layer, the Acto FL’s precision fit and functional articulation combine for a high level of dynamic freedom. The lightweight Tyono™ 30 nylon StormHood™ adds wind protection, and HemLocks™ prevent the Acto FL from slipping out from under a harness.

dj_jamiet Have you ever used it for backcountry skiing / ice climbing / snow shoeing? Wondering how much protection it offers from wind/cold

dj_jamiet And is this more of a turquoise or a royal blue?

dukeofwalnut @dj_jamiet I've got another one in Grey that I use for rock climbing and backcountry skiing, which is why I'm selling this one. The first one is so durable that I don't see ever needing this one. It's a perfect active layer, breathes like a charm.

dukeofwalnut @dj_jamiet Neither. It's almost a NASA blue if you know what I mean. Arc'teryx is really good at incorporating uncommon colors into thier collections.

dukeofwalnut No longer for sale. I decided to keep the jacket. For those looking to buy one, it’s worth the investment if you plan on using it for any type of mountaineering. I would delicately classify it as a hybrid... It’s like a technical fleece with a harder “soft shell” exterior. Absolutely excellent as a stand-alone layer for early starts. Obviously it’s not made for downpours, but will handle the light stuff easily.
