Aries Viscount 35 mm camera (works)

The Aires Viscount camera was manufactured by the Aires Camera Industries Company of Tokyo, Japan in circa 1959. It is a rangefinder with a rather classical appeal. It features a H. Copal 45mm F1.9 lens that can be transformed into 80mm tele lens with a teleconverter. This is an extraordinary solidly built camera. It is heavy for its size but all the controls move without play, and the shutter and winding sounds are a pleasure for the ear. The camera is in good condition but the shutters are slow on slower settings.
