Permanent pleats keep their shape. Elastic waistband. This stretches far enough to get past my 39/40” hips. Waistband shrinks down to about 26”. Has some small stains, I have not tried hard to remove them so they may not be permanent. As you can see from photos, they aren’t noticeable, I tried to take photos to show them. In the bottom left about 3 or 4 inches from the hem and top left about an inch or two from the waist you can look for the stains.
