Armani Vintage 1980s Grey Plaid Textured/Knotted Wool Skirt

This grey plaid skirt was made in Italy by Giorgio Armani in the 1980s. I had to do some online label research to find that information since the part of the label that says "Made in Italy" has been sewn into the skirt so that all that shows is "Giorgio Armani" and the size label "42." If you look up "vintage 1980s Giorgio Armani," you can find this label. The skirt feels like wool. The fabric is textured and even very lightly knotted. The skirt is fully lined with a black fabric that's either polyester, acetate, or possibly nylon. This skirt has an 8" vertical fold that looks like a slit on the bottom of the front. It doesn't open completely like a slit, but the fold provides more fabric and room for movement. It has a hidden zipper on the wearer's left side and a button at the top of the zipper to keep it fastened. It also has front side pockets. The skirt is in excellent used condition. It has been altered. The alterations aren't noticeable on the outside, but can be seen on the inside, such as shown in the last photo in this listing. The measurements in this listing were taken on the skirt post-alteration. It's labeled a European size 42, which is approximately a US size 8 according to online size conversion charts I found.
