@rkindc Hey there! I'd say it's roughly 17" across, but can measure when I get home today if you'd like to get the exact measurement.
The drawstring is at the waist and adjustable so it doesn't affect the bust too much - there are just has 2 buttons along the bust/ribs above the drawstring. The bust area is very forgiving since it has those big, flowy drop-down sleeves!
