With its high ceiling and ornate woodwork, it's easy to see why the house and its library was in the same family for 100 years. DETAILS/CONDITION: Covers show minor wear, including: rubbing to extremities, tear in cloth on spine, and stain on rear cover. Shelf-cocked. Lovely detail on front cover. Marginalia on fly leaf. Front and rear hinges are broken. Light toning, foxing, stains on a few pages. Pages are otherwise crisp and clean.
