Arpege / Chanel No. 5 Perfumed Writing Pens

Very controversial pens. They had scented ink. This is the information I was able to find. They were manufactured in the 60’s to the 70’s. One was supposedly scented with Arpege ink and the other with Chanel No. 5. There is no longer a smell and the ink is dried up. I’m sure a universal replacement would work if you wanted to write with them. They are stunning. The inside of the case says “14 KT GOLD” but after doing my research I found that only the filigree on the pens are 14kt gold. There is some controversy over whether these are actual products of Chanel and Arpege. I found that at one time Macy’s in New York had these. Maybe a promotional situation (I’m not sure). Regardless they are very pretty and I’d say a nice collector’s piece. Please look at the pictures as the case has spots on it but considering how old they are still in good shape. And as I said the pens are beautiful.
