Art deco necklace pendant with gemstones.
Beautiful pendant-necklace, created in America during the Art Deco period, back in the 1930. This piece, is a convertible necklace and a brooch that has been crafted in solid platinum of .900/.999. It is embellished with a great selection of natural earth mined gemstones and is fitted on top with a retractable hinged bale to wear in a chain. The reverse is fitted with a hinged pin bar with a mechanical lock to wear as a brooch. A gorgeous piece with incredible craftsmanship, in impeccable condition and with all the original gemstones from the stated period with absolutely no replacements.
Diamonds: Mounted in bezels and millegrain settings, with 56 European round cut diamonds, 3.12 carats, white colorless F color, VS-2 clarity.
Sapphire: Mount in the center in a bezel setting, with 1 round cabochon cut (6 x 6 x 4.3 mm) of a natural Ceylon blue sapphire of 1.75 carats.
Birthstone: Sapphire for the month of September.
