Art Deco era, RARE, Siam sterling & multicolored enamel, niello, link bracelet! For sale is a vintage, Art Deco era, RARE, Siam sterling & multicolored enamel, niello, link bracelet ! A look from the past that translates beautifully into today's styles! The piece is stunning! It has enamel painted, multi-color, octagon links in white, red, yellow, turquoise blue, and a deep, indigo blue. There is different design in the center of each octagonal link of either a boat, adorned elephant or Hindu god or goddess each block of color that is engraved to enhance the detailing. The piece is unusual- it is a geometric design that seems to pay respect to the Ganges river, with both cows and Hindu images, as opposed to the usual goddess theme Siam sterling jewelry is known for depicting. The piece is signed 'Siam, LRL or ERL'. Above the words, there is a maker's mark that looks like a signature- see pictures. If anyone recognizes this mark, please email me so that I can update the ad. It has a hidden clasp. Dimensions: 3/8" wide x .25" thick. This piece is in very good, vintage condition. There is minor enamel loss on one of the indigo blocks- see pictures- but I do not think it detracts from the uniqueness or beauty of the piece.
