Art Nouveau Antique Gold Over Brass Brooch

Beautiful antique Art Nouveau twisted brass and flowers with 14k gold plate. Per gemologist metal read. Fastener was replaced at some point. It was not uncommon to repair a less expensive piece of jewelry with different metal on the back. The attitude was “who’s going to see the back anyway”. Not too many of these unique pieces from the Art Nouveau period around. Measures 1 7/8”
