Art deco Rex Fifth avenue Black Enamel and Brass p

This lovely compact has been around for about 80 years and has likely attended some interesting parties! The top is a pretty jet black enamel with a raised flower of brass in the center and a braid of brass around the edge. It opens to a large mirror and the original powder puff marked "FIFTH Rex AVENUE"; underneath is the gauze sifter and some of the original powder.
