It does not say 10K, it has Jostens written, its a very reputable older jeweler, many rings are vintage, this ine is older than most, dating 1933. These rings are s mix of sterling silver, and toped with solid gold, in this case the gold is backdrop to the sterling and black enamel. Short answer to your question, it is both sterling and gold and unmarked other than maker
