Arthur pants (like Ilana Kohn Abe but bespoke quality) organic cotton dark denim

These are the Insta-famous #ArthurPants by Sew Liberated. They’re new, high waisted, barrel leg, pull-on pants that you’ll reach for every day because they look good with everything and are as comfy as pjs. They’re home-sewn with flat felled and French seams (for people who aren’t sewing snobs, these are couture finishes that make garments as pretty on the inside as out; see last 2 pics, which are the *inside* of the trousers). Inspired by Ilana Kohn’s Abe pants (which I also own; not to toot my own horn🤘🎺 but Ilana’s are not as well made as these). Cut and sewn as a straight size 4, these could fit anyone from a size 0 to 8 depending on how you want them to fit. The silhouette is meant to be oversized. The elastic waist is 24” unstretched, ~36” stretched. I’m 5’6” and the inseam reaches my ankle bone. I decided I want to remake them a lot shorter (culotte length) and a little less voluminous in the leg. Back to the sewing table for me. Only trying to recoup the cost of materials plus a tiny bit for the many hours I spent on these. Denim has been pre-washed and shrunk but they have not been worn since I finished them so they are new. Beware: new dark denim will transfer color until it’s been washed a lot so please be careful when wearing light-colored tops.
