danimichaud Are they exactly a 23 inch waist? What’s the hip measurement? Sorry for all the questions! I have such a hard time finding any pants that fit - I’ve bought three pairs off poshmark with no success so I’m trying a different designer/brand and hoping they will (I probably should just go in person but they’re way more expensive / I like upcycling!!)) also would you be able to get an ankle measurement - or can you tuck them into boots if you want?

mimiloliq @danimichaud Hi! I completely understand your struggles in finding pants that fit! So rather than give you measurements, because those tend to not accurately reflect how the jeans actually fit, due to the different materials used to make jeans, I’ll describe how they fit. 😁 Articles of Society skinny jeans tend to be a little looser throughout and not as slim-fitting due to the thinner material of the jeans that tend to loose shape the longer you wear them.

mimiloliq I used to have 32” hips and a 23”-24” waist and these used to gap a little in the waist because these aren’t as form-fitting and fit better on people with a larger waist to hip ratio. The ankles on these jeans are also a little larger and more suitable for rolling up.

mimiloliq I actually recommend the Topshop brand Jamie Moto skinny jeans if you are looking for form-fitting jeans that are slim throughout, including in the ankles, and keep there shape through multiple wears. The fit is more like leggings, but with thicker, stretchier denim than other skinny jeans. Those jeans are also high-waisted, which I find to be better if you have a smaller hip to waist ratio or have a straight body shape. I do have a pair of those for sale, but they have a released hem.

mimiloliq You can also find that style of jean with finished hems and in different inseam lengths, depending on if you want them more ankle length, or to cover your ankles. Do keep in mind that the Jamie’s run one size smaller and are a little more expensive, even buying secondhand. But they are sooo sooo worth it! 🙌 I hope this was helpful and good luck in your search for your perfect pair!!

danimichaud but I do have hips still (just as a woman haha) and sometimes they don’t fit that way - I’m not sure right now because I lost some weight due to stress of a new work situation/school! Would need to re measure. But I will def check out the Jamie moto jeans. I will also keep checking your shop for other items! Thank you so much again, you totally made my day :)
