It was thoughtfully crafted by the skilled Artisans of indigenous communities around the world where weaving, crocheting, and beading make up a large part of their daily life, especially for women. Hand crafted pieces are more valuable because a machine would not be able to add the touches that a craftsman does, which adds to the charm and character of each individual piece. It has a round 1.5” inch pendant of the Virgen of Guadalupe on one side, and St. Michael Archangel on the opposite side, with both embroidery, as well as, beadwork all around (encasing) the pendant. On the opposite side it has a 1.5” inch beaded tassel. It has a total of 10 (8mm) hand crafted with multi-color thread beads. It is adjustable and measures over 10” inches long when fully open.
