Acid and Magnet tested - Confirmed Sterling Silver (.925 / 92.5% pure silver) Turquoise: Natural stone, Cabochon, Bezel set, Oval, measuring 20 mm long x 12 mm wide x 6 mm thick. Turquoise: Sonora Gold Turquoise has more quartz visible than the normal type of Turquoise you know. But this also adds a large number of other colors to the stone. Greenish tinge, browns, oranges and some pink can also be seen in this gemstone. Turquoise: You will note that the cracks in the Turquoise were Sterling Silver filled. This will prevent the stone from cracking, almost like a tooth filling. This is rather unique and not commonly seen or found. Designer: Unknown, no Hallmarks. This is common with new jewelers. More than likely (I would say 99% sure) this set was created in a rural area in the United States. More than likely, Native American art. One can say this was the beginning of this artist's journey.
