▪︎ welcome to my artist bio ▪︎ abstract art is part of my mind, body, & soul. another form of intense therapy. when I paint, i'm throwing the chaos or manic bliss into my art. at times, it makes me cry because of the intensity that goes in, I can feel it lift out of my soul. i strive to keep learning new techniques to grow as an artist & not to get bored, as it happens in other things that i become obsessed with. art has been my whole life, starting as a small child drawing, coloring, exploring. creating art has been my go to when life became intolerable. sketching & charcoaling was my choice in my teens, always in my room - if not reading - scribbling the chaos onto paper. in hs, i took every art class that was available, from drawing, painting, & sculpting. i went into a deep & dark hole through my 20s to my early 30s. breaking the cycle, i felt the need to start creating again. i still don't know how painting was where i went since painting was never my go to. so here i am, yrs later, still painting.. & actually selling it. never in a million years would i think any of this would happen. but im internally grateful for this gift that i was given. i've even have had the liberty to show in a few galleries, truly honored and grateful for everything. thank you, for all your support. ▪︎ i love making personalized commissioned pieces, so if there is something you would like done, shoot me a mssge! ▪Gallery info soon, STAY TUNED! ♡ love, light, & energy ♡ ●abstract_sherri
