Aryeh for Anthropologie Vintage Mod Pop Art Floral Tunic Sweater or Mini Dress L

This is a rare "vintage" tunic sweater (or mini dress) from the late 90s, by Aryeh for Anthropologie. A mod and funky graphic is primarily black and marled yellow with accents of orange and green. The swirly design comes straight from the floral doodles on my '70s school notebook cover. (Yep, in the old days, we covered our school books with brown paper and then used colored markers to decorate them with swirly shapes and flower-power scribbles.) We were influenced by the pop art of Peter Max and Milton Glaser, as is this Aryeh sweater. The design seems as fresh as it ever was. The polyester knit is soft and cozy with a gentle A-line shape that drapes easily and ties at the back. It's hippie chic -- fab and fun incorporated with trickled-down ethnic origins and an aura of comfortable grunge, the beginning of what we now call BOHO. Aryeh is still producing clothing, but they no longer make sweaters quite like this. This is a rare find and a keeper. I personally kept it all these years and am finally letting it go. I haven't worn it in... omg, it's been two decades... but it's been safely stashed away till now and is in GREAT condition. It's ready for action!
