@rjspnwgirl more of a rain coat but it’s not the kind of raincoat that’s just a shell - it’s a very nice thick quality raincoat material. But I wouldn’t say it’s warm enough for snowy conditions.

@larlensposh I would say it’s medium weight. Not super light weight like other packable coats that fold up very tiny. But could definitely fold into a backpack or suitcase! It’s not bulky like a winter coat. I will get back to you with measurements :)
