@carmenweaver4 the material is recycled nylon, to repel water. It feels slick, but is also soft. I ran my hand across the fabric and it does make make a little noise, but doesn’t sound too loud or annoying in my opinion. It sounds just like a normal water resistant coat. My friend has this same coat and wears hers a ton and I never noticed it sounding loud or swishy when I was with her. Hopefully this helps answer your question!
