Australian Blue Opal

I know this beauty is from Australia, specifically from Queensland but that is the extent of my knowledge. I purchased it a long time ago at a mineral shop in Colorado when I first started collecting. If I had bought it these days I would know what questions to ask. Like what ridge it came from etc. I have an extensive collection of these now and can bear to part with it. Opals increase in value, especially the blue and black ones! I can put this on a chain for you if you'd like or you can enjoy it's beauty as is. All opals look best in outdoor or (UV) light, they just come to LIFE in sunshine :)
